Save as View-only

This option allows you to save a solution in the View-only mode. The purpose of the this mode is to allow multiple users to access the solution without implementing any further changes to the solution. You can use this mode to set a reference solution for multidisciplinary users. If a solution is saved in view-only mode, you can make changes to the solution but these changes cannot be saved further, either as a DMS solution or saved as a solution to JewelFile. Also the complete audit trail information from the parent solution is removed.

Click on the Save as view-only button to open a Windows selection dialog, where you can select a location, and optionally rename your file. Next, click OK to save it. Consecutively, the CRS of the view-only solution changes permanently to Sandbox mode and cannot be modified.
